Hépatites NA-E post-transfusionnelles
hépatites post-transfusionnelles NA-E chez 11 % des receveurs allo-transfusés
Ces hépatites sont caractérisées par une hypertransaminasémie ne dépassant pas 5 fois la normale, l'absence d'ictère, une durée d'évolution ne dépassant pas 6 mois, un passage exceptionnel à la chronicité

La constatation d'hépatites aiguës NA-E séronégatives pour les virus connus des hépatites a été faite aux États-Unis, en Grèce, en Espagne, en Russie, à Hong-Kong

Hépatites chroniques NA-C
Peu de données sont disponibles sur les hépatites chroniques NA-C.
La définition et le diagnostic de
ces hépatites chroniques NA-C reposent encore actuellement
sur l'exclusion de toute autre cause d'hépatopathie chronique.
Les éléments en sont :
- une élévation persistante des transaminases durant
plus de 6 mois,
- la négativité des marqueurs viraux VHB, delta,
VHC (sérologie et PCR),
- la négativité des anticorps anti-tissus antinucléaires,
anti-muscle lisse, anti-LKM1, anti-mitochondries,
- l'absence d'hémochromatose, de maladie de Wilson, de
déficit en alpha-1-AT, etc.,
- l'absence de consommation de médicaments ou produits
hépatotoxiques,
- la présence de signes histologiques d'hépatite
chronique.
Hépatites fulminantes
De nombreux auteurs ont rapporté des cas d'hépatites fulminantes NA-B puis NC .
Elles représentent 25 à 45 % des hépatites fulminantes avec un taux de survie de 9 à 19 %
