Maladie coeliaque et gènes non liés au HLA
gène cytotoxic T lymphocyte associated-4 (CTLA-4), codant un antigène de surface des lymphocytes T activés, qui régule négativement leur activation en induisant leur apoptose
Différentes études ont montré des associations de ce gène avec
Recherche systématique de liaison génétique sur l'ensemble du génome
La première étude réalisée sur 15 familles irlandaises par l'équipe de Zhong a suggéré des liaisons entre la maladie et 5 régions chromosomiques, en dehors de la région HLA
